People in every community are hurting and falling through gaps in Australia’s formal care systems. AFCNA has a vision to equip individuals and faith communities to effectively respond and be the care that they want to see in their community. We would love to share our heart for Faith Community Care and Faith Community Nursing with your local church, or local faith community organisation and show you what is possible in your community.

AFCNA can provide a presentation to your leadership or membership to EXPLORE Faith Community Care. This can be achieved via Zoom or an in-person meeting of one hour (depending on your location and any physical gathering restrictions that may be in place). Each EXPLORE presentation covers:  

• What is Faith Community Care? 
• How does it work? 
• How can you get involved? 
• What can Faith Community Nursing add? 
• Q&A time

We provide an explanation of Faith Community Care and Faith Community Nursing with examples of ministries in action. Our sessions are provided by experienced Faith Community Nurses and/or Care Coordinators.

The content can be adapted for your individual church or organisation’s circumstances.
