As a valued partner you will support AFCNA to engage, nurture, equip and network Christian people to provide compassionate and hopeful Faith Community Care and Faith Community Nursing.
Education and Training
In 2026 the Australian Faith Community Nurses Association became a part of the Spiritual Care Association – Nursing Division
AFCNA provides excellent faith-based education, information and resources to:
- equip people for effective Faith Community Care
- and facilitate Faith Community Nursing.
AFCNA aims to support you to effectively care for one another so that every person is able to thrive and live an ‘abundant life’ (John 10:10bNIV). AFCNA’s education, training and resources will assist you to understand, commence and sustain Faith Community Care in your local Christian church or organisation, adding an empowering health focus to your pastoral care. We also prepare and equip Registered Nurses for the specialist role of Faith Community Nurse, enabling holistic (body, mind, spirit, relationship) care to individuals and families in your faith community and the people you serve.
